“KITA – Sabah Celebrating Diversity” is a FINAS funded local documentary film about Sabah’s diverse society, produced entirely by local crews in collaboration with Sabah Unity in Diversity Community Partners (SUIDCP). The entire production took nearly two years to complete, including 10 months of shooting throughout 15 locations in Sabah and Kuala Lumpur.
Synopsis: An original and locally produced documentary film about the realities, values and aspirations of Sabahans in embracing, celebrating and preserving cultural diversity in Sabah. This 1 hour 45 minutes documentary consists of three separate but yet interrelated sections, following the real life stories of 10 ordinary Sabahans and through their lenses we experience the “strength”, “beauty” and “deliciousness” of our diverse society.
